Extend the Power of Project Online with the Proven PPM360 Implementation & Integration Solution

Let’s face it: Microsoft’s standard installation is a great foundation but doesn’t do everything you need to manage a complex PMO.

Custom fields, reports, and automations to support your unique project processes all have to be built and integrated by someone. As a Microsoft Gold Partner experienced in integrating Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Power Apps into a comprehensive, robust platform that fully supports your growing PMO. Even better, your project managers won’t need to leave the platform in order to perform tasks or view reports.

Explore the Benefits of PPM360

PPM360 Integrates with All Your Trusted Tools

Integrate all your trusted Microsoft Apps into a single platform, without having to add in extra applications that will need to be vetted and approved. It’s all in Microsoft and ready for you to use.

From Vision to Implementation in 6-8 Weeks*

Chances are, you’ve already wasted months trying to customize your Project Management tools. In just 6-8 weeks*, Aptude’s team of experts can take you from vision to implementation of the PPM360 solution.

Phase 1: Discovery

The first phase starts with a phone call between your team and ours to explore your situation and if you’re a good fit for the PPM360 solution. If we agree, then we’ll move forward with the project.

Phase 2: Assessment & Initiation

The second phase kicks off the project. Our team will start with an initial assessment of your Project platform and connected apps. We’ll then meet to discuss your project requirements and what you’d like us to accomplish together by the end of the 6-8 weeks. Once documented and approved, we’ll set up the development environment and kick off the configuration phase.

Phase 3: Configuration

The Configuration phase is where a lot of the important work will happen. From this point on out, we’ll be making continual improvements to the system based on our testing and your feedback. This phase also involves configuring the platform to your specs, building useful project and portfolio dashboards, and training your team (with documentation!) on how to use the new PPM360 platform with the rest of your Microsoft applications (Teams, PowerBI, Power Apps, and SharePoint).

Phase 4: Pilot Run

In the Pilot Run phase, we’ll make the tweaks needed after getting feedback from your beta testers, then we’ll run with a pilot version to more users.

Phase 5: Improvement

Next, we’ll get even more continuous feedback, perform more optimization to the platform, update the dashboards based on tweaks, and train your team on the changes.

Phase 6: Deployment

Finally, we’ll deploy the live, production version for your team. You’ll walk away with a Project Online tool your entire PMO will find valuable, efficient, and effective for the way you work. And if you’d like some help long-term to maintain your system, Aptude’s team of Microsoft Gold Partner experts are available to help.

One Platform, Many Possibilities.

Explore the PPM360 Use Cases

PPM360 is designed to support all of your project, program, and portfolio processes and needs. Here’s some examples of what you can do with PPM360 for your PMO…

“YES! We want to be able to see relevant dashboards based on custom fields.”

When we build your custom PPM360 solution, we’ll also create custom fields and properties for you based on your unique processes, PMO environment, and reporting goals.

Generally, this means being able to report on and take action at the project level, task level, and resource level without having to leave the Project Web App platform.

“YES! We want to create a Project Status Dashboard where our Program/Portfolio Managers can see the state of the portfolio easily.”

Our PPM360 Dashboard solution gives your Program Managers and Portfolio Managers an easy-to-use dashboard of everything they need to see. Access can be as broad or granular as you need, and what’s reported on includes all the custom fields pertinent to that role. Items like budget status, approvals, on-time status, and more can be featured. So you can view your capacity down to the day, easily see project status, manage your portfolio at a glance, and more all within the same platform. Even better, your dashboards include usage tracking so you automatically know which dashboards are valuable and which aren’t. (This isn’t a standard feature.)

“YES! We want expert clarity on our big picture process for project flow and PMO… so we can be sure we are automating the right things based on best practices.”

The PPM360 6-8 week project doesn’t just include the design, build, and deployment; it also includes our expert guidance on project process best practices. So you can be sure that you’re not building just to build, but building to optimize a PPM platform your organization can use long-term.

“YES! We want to automatically document more than risks, issues, and deliverables.”

Our customized PPM360 solution gives you deep integration with Microsoft SharePoint so your project artifact files include documents, risk logs, action logs, decision logs, change logs, lessons learned, and more, all stored safely and securely within SharePoint.

“YES! We want to seamlessly integrate with Teams and automate notifications with Power Apps.”

Our PPM360 solution integrates with SharePoint and Power Apps to give you a robust, automated solution that helps everyone stay on track and productive, saving you time in task-switching in the long run because your teams have fewer apps to have to check to get answers.

Case Study: Major school district aces project and budget management with Microsoft Project Online and Visio

Fulton County Schools (FCS) in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the state’s biggest school districts. The FCS Project Management Office (PMO) supports the district’s high educational standards by ensuring equally high-quality project management for peak administrative performance. Envisioning a solution to provide easy portfolio visibility and reporting, the department teamed with consulting firm Aptude, creatively blending Microsoft apps to realize that vision. Saving a week per month of PMO time alone, FCS is now at the head of the class.
